Sound In The Signals Interview With: DNEZ

I had the chance recently to interview DNEZ this and we talked about his new single "Stompin" click READ MORE to check out the interview!

Tell me a little about the single and why you chose to release it here at the end of the year? Will this be off a future project?

Well we choose to go with "Stompin" as the 2nd single following “Hungry” for the sheer fact of it being a theme song for the up coming project, and the fact that I really really like the song. It's from my next project title "Loch Nez Monster". We figure why not leave the year on the high note and give the fans something new.

Who produced this single and what went into the recording process of it?

Jansport J is the man responsible for that ferocious beat. He sent it to me awhile ago and for some reason when I heard it I instantly thought this beats sounds like some heavy stomping or zebras or some shit. Either way in the end, the finish product was created.

Who came up with the idea for the artwork for the single?

As far as the artwork for the cover, I actually created it myself. I wanted to capture what I felt was the essence of the song, "...stompin like a wild herd of zebra". I like to keep things simple, so that image was the perfect look for the song. It gives you a peek into my artistic ventures. Look out for future productions from myself also in 2012, till then, keep STOMPIN.

GQ Terrell Owens Interview

GQ has a really interesting interview with Terrell Owens in their February issue. You can check out more information from the issue as well as a look at the feature over at GQ: HERE. Here is an interesting excerpt from the interview:

But the media roundly scoffed at the idea of a "new" T.O., and Owens responded as he always has: defensively. "They, you, need a bad guy," he fumes, refilling his tall glass of springwater as the hostility in the room grows thick. Around each wrist are two-inch-wide rubber bracelets embossed with words in black and white: LOVE ME HATE ME. "I think people change, but the media, they never allowed me to change. They never allowed me to be a better person." Read More!
